CREAR UN PLAN DE SEGURIDAD
Cada familia, independientemente de su estatus migratorio, debe tener un plan de seguridad. Estas tres plantillas destacan información clave y proporcionan un modelo para que su familia lo complete.

Kit de Herramientas de Preparación Migratoria: Este kit describe pasos clave en un documento informativo lleno de recursos diseñado para ayudar a inmigrantes sin estatus legal o en familias con estatus mixto a comprender el panorama legal de inmigración y planificar su camino en un sistema complejo y en constante cambio en los Estados Unidos.

Plan Detallado de Preparación Familiar: Obtenga este plan detallado de preparación familiar en inglés y español. Toda familia debe tener un Plan de Preparación Familiar en caso de emergencia. Es fundamental que las familias inmigrantes piensen con anticipación y establezcan planes más concretos para emergencias migratorias. Este kit de herramientas aborda opciones de cuidado infantil disponibles en caso de ausencia parental, cómo encontrar servicios de inmigración confiables en su comunidad y cómo prepararse para hacer valer sus derechos constitucionales ante un oficial de inmigración. El kit está dividido en secciones que ofrecen orientación para la planificación familiar, independientemente del estatus migratorio, y proporciona consejos adicionales a familias indocumentadas y/o de estatus mixto. Declaración Jurada del Cuidador: Acceda a la Declaración Jurada del Cuidador, este documento permite a un cuidador inscribir a un niño en la escuela y dar su consentimiento para la atención médica del niño. Una Declaración Jurada del Cuidador no elimina ni suspende los derechos parentales. Un padre o tutor puede anular cualquiera de las decisiones del cuidador, a menos que los deseos del padre o tutor pongan en peligro la salud, vida o seguridad del niño.

Directorio Nacional de Servicios Legales de Inmigración: Acceda a esta herramienta para buscar proveedores de servicios legales de inmigración por estado, condado o centro de detención. Solo se incluyen organizaciones sin fines de lucro que ofrecen servicios legales gratuitos o de bajo costo.

Ayuda Legal para Inmigrantes: Utilice esta herramienta para encontrar recursos de inmigración locales por estado, código postal y más. Es un directorio en línea con más de 1,000 proveedores de servicios legales de inmigración gratuitos o de bajo costo en los 50 estados.

TARJETAS ROJAS CSD
Tarjetas Rojas del Centro de Recursos Legales para Inmigrantes (ILRC): Acceda a estas tarjetas rojas reconocidas a nivel nacional que caben en su billetera y describen sus derechos (¡disponibles en más de quince idiomas!). Las Tarjetas Rojas del ILRC ayudan a las personas a hacer valer sus derechos y defenderse en muchas situaciones, como cuando agentes de ICE llegan a una casa. Todas las personas en los Estados Unidos, independientemente de su estatus migratorio, tienen ciertos derechos y protecciones bajo la Constitución de los Estados Unidos. ¡Ordene sus tarjetas o imprima las suyas!

SAFETY PLAN TEMPLATES
Every family regardless of immigration status should have a safety plan. These three templates highlight various safety planning information and provide a template for your family to fill-in.  

Immigration Preparedness Toolkit: This toolkit outlines key steps in a resource-packed informational document designed to help immigrants with no legal status or in mixed status families begin to understand the immigration legal landscape and plan for their own journey through an ever-changing, complex system in the United States.

Detailed Family Preparedness Plan: Access this detailed Family preparedness plan in English and Spanish Every family should have a Family Preparedness Plan in case of an emergency. It is critical for immigrant families to think ahead and set more concrete plans for immigration emergencies that can arise. This Resource Toolkit goes into detail about different childcare options available in case of an absent parent, where to find trusted immigration services in your community, and how to prepare to assert your constitutional rights in the presence of an immigration officer. The toolkit is divided into different sections that give guidance on family preparedness planning, regardless of immigration status. Caregiver’s Affidavit: Access the Caregiver’s Affidavit, this document allows a Caregiver to enroll a child in school and consent to a child’s medical care. A Caregiver’s Affidavit does not take away or suspend parental rights. A parent or guardian can overrule any of the Caregiver’s decisions, unless the parent or guardian’s wishes jeopardize the child’s health, life, or safety.

National Immigration Legal Services Directory:  Access this tool to search for immigration legal services providers by state, county, or detention facility. Only nonprofit organizations that provide free or low-cost immigration legal services are included in this directory. 

Immigration Law Help: Utilize this tool to find local immigration resources by state, zipcode and more. It is a searchable online directory of over 1,000 free or low-cost nonprofit immigration legal services providers in all 50 states.

KYR RED CARDS
Immigration Legal Resource Center Red Cards: Access these nationally recognized red cards that fit in your wallet and outline your rights (available in over fifteen languages)! The ILRC’s Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when ICE agents go to a home. All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. Order your cards or print your own!
