Las redadas de ICE han impactado profundamente a familias y comunidades en todo el país, incluidas aquellas a las que servimos y representamos. Queremos escuchar y documentar estas experiencias para darles voz, visibilizar lo que está ocurriendo y fortalecer nuestra defensa por los derechos y la dignidad de todas las personas.
En los últimos meses hemos trabajado en apoyo al Proyecto de Ley SB 627, que busca que los oficiales de ICE se identifiquen claramente y no utilicen máscaras durante sus operativos. Más de 450 personas se sumaron enviando cartas de apoyo a esta propuesta. Ahora queremos seguir sumando voces para que los legisladores comprendan la urgencia de proteger a nuestras comunidades.

Dear community,
ICE raids have profoundly impacted families and communities across the country, including those we serve and represent. We want to listen and document these experiences in order to give them voice, shed light on what is happening, and strengthen our advocacy for the rights and dignity of all.
In recent months, we have worked in support of SB 627, which seeks to ensure that ICE officers clearly identify themselves and do not wear masks during their operations. More than 450 people joined by sending letters of support for this proposal. Now we want to continue gathering voices so that legislators understand the urgency of protecting our communities.
