OREGON (Spanish) | Promotoras Transforming Families and Communities (PTFC)

This training will be conducted in Spanish.

This virtual training is for all residents of the state of Oregon. During this 45-hour interactive training, divided into 9 sessions, participants will strengthen their skills and knowledge to more effectively carry out their role as promotoras and community health workers.

Some of the topics include:

• Communication techniques to improve dialogue and understanding with others.
• Facilitating and leading groups in the community to create a positive dynamic among their members.
• Adult learning based on popular education and adult learning styles.
• Inspiring their community to actively participate.
